Ricki L. Osborn Stubbs was born and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1990, Ms. Osborn Stubbs attended Iowa Central Community College. In 1992, Ms. Osborn Stubbs received her Associates of Arts Degree and then transferred to the University of Iowa. In 1994, Ms. Osborn Stubbs graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Ms. Osborn Stubbs then attended Creighton University School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 1997. Ms. Osborn Stubbs then moved back to her hometown of Fort Dodge and began working in the Webster County Attorney’s Office in 1998 as an assistant county attorney. In 2002, Ms. Osborn Stubbs was appointed First Assistant and later County Attorney in 2009. In 2010, Ms. Osborn Stubbs was elected Webster County Attorney. In 2013, Ms. Osborn Stubbs took over the law firm of R. Thomas Price after Mr. Price’s 50th year of practicing law.

Ms. Osborn Stubbs is married to James Stubbs and together they have a son, J.R. Stubbs. Ms. Osborn Stubbs has a step-son and his wife, Tyler and Tia Stubbs, and two granddaughters, Alice Mae and Margaret Lynn.
